You made your first order WOOHOO! Now it’s time to fulfill the order and get it sent out. When a new order comes through, you will be sent an email with the information needed to send the package, or you can login to your WordPress website to see the order details.
From your dashboard, you will see Order details. These details will include the date the order was created, the status of the order, and the customer’s information. Their information will include phone number, billing address and shipping address. (This may be different for you depending on what you require for orders, but what I mentioned is quite standard for most WordPress websites).

Above this information, you may see Shipping Label. Here, you can choose the package information and create labels right on your computer to print.
Over to the right hand side, you will see Order Notes. You will see from bottom to top, each step that has occurred since the origination of the order. If there was a failed process along the way (such as the user input the incorrect zip code associated with their credit card) it will tell you that information.

At the bottom of Order Notes, you will see Add Note. You will also see a drop down for Private Note or Note For Customer. Here you can add either private notes for your team and yourself or you can send information to your customer, such as the Tracking # once you send the order out.

No matter what carrier you use, you should receive a tracking #. This tracking number will allow your customer to follow the package along as it makes it’s way to their doorstep. I always like to do the Print and Email option at USPS when checking out. That way, I get an emailed receipt and I can easily copy and paste the tracking number as a Note To Customer.

Once I add the tracking #, I change the Status of Processing, to Complete and then choose Update on the order.

That’s it! You rocked out your first order 😊
